After reading this and sitting there with the maybe and could be answer just hanging there for the curious. I just wanted to add my personal experience for folks currently taking (trapped on?) SSRIs. SSRIs will blunt uptake/efficacy by roughly 50%. What this translates to is, you'll require twice the dose you would if you weren't taking them.

Microdosing is how both my wife and I were able to stop taking SSRIs after 6yrs and 16yrs of being on them. It was so much easier than I believed and in the past 5 years I've personally worked with 100s of folks to repeat a similar process.

All that to say, it is possible. Maybe check out the microdosing Reddit or the book (written by 2 doctors) - Microdosing For Health Healing and Enhanced Performance.

On the valvular heart issue, this study (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41789300/)

was enough to ease my fears, along with the fact the Albert Hoffman lived to 102 and he mentioned micro dosing regularly during the last couple decades of his life.
